Q: What services does your garage provide?
We currently offer tyres and tracking only, but are in the process of purchasing new equipment and redeveloping the site to include servicing and MOTs.
Q: How would you describe your business in 3 words?
Efficient, honest and evolving.
Q: Tell us one interesting fact people may not know about you?
Outen Tyres has been operating for over 40 years.
Q: What does your customer base typically value the most from your business?
I believe it’s the confidence we’ve built up from years of honest, reliable service, that means we now have a vast network of customers that often travel from further afield to use us.
Q: What encouraged you to become a customer of Davanti?
We had become a number with our other supplier and Davanti were offering us more of a partnership, where we felt valued again and supported. The fact that Davanti is an independent, family-run business too doesn’t hurt either!
Q: What impact has being a Davanti dealer had on your business?
We’re up 20% in the last 6 months.
Q: Which Davanti products are most popular with your customers?
The DX640 and the van range. We have a lot of account customers that count on us to get them back on the road.
Q: If you could offer one piece of advice to a fellow garage owner just starting out in the industry, what would it be?
Work with integrity and profits will follow further down the line.
