Wigan Warriors take home Challenge Cup trophy
Monday 6th June 2022Wigan Warriors secured a historical victory in the Challenge Cup against the Huddersfield Giants.
The thrilling game saw the Warriors win for the 20th time, with Liam Marshall scoring a last minute try with just four minutes of the game remaining, taking the result to 16-14. This dashed the hopes of the Giants who were aiming for their first major trophy in 69 years.
The win comes as the Warriors celebrate their 150th anniversary, making it a year to remember.
